As the Covid-19 situation has worsened over the last two weeks, demand has fallen considerably across the industries we serve, as our customers adapt to the current situation across the globe. Therefore, International Fibres Group have taken the decision to operate a reduced production capacity in April, temporarily halting manufacturing at two of our four operations in Europe.
For two weeks (from 6th April), our IFG Exelto fibre plant in Belgium and IFG Drake’s Bradford plant in the UK will pause production. Both facilities plan to restart by 22nd April and during this time, our dispatch departments will remain open to allow customers to take product from stock, and all customer services and technical departments will be contactable as normal, to take orders and answer any queries.
Please note that IFG Cresco in Belgium will continue to operate as normal.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and provide further updates as the situation changes. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact your IFG representatives. We wish our customers, suppliers and their families the very best of health through these unprecedented times.
